Pivotal were tasked to work with Lacoste on their promotional LIVE launch in Retail.
We were briefed to think outside the box, to create innovative ideas as to how to make a Lacoste fragrance display a little different to the norm, as well adding a little interactivity that the shoppers can get involved in!
With LIVE being the pivotal word, we related this to live electricity. With the incorporation of live electricity, we had to think on a successful, yet safe idea. Our Design and Project Management team decided to include a Buzz Wire game. This was flexible to use as all ages could get involved and it will be recognised only by Lacoste, not forgetting that this was a unique selling point.
Nowadays, technology and individuality is what invites shoppers into store. The use of displays are only effective when something stands out. The aim was to heighten Lacoste’s in-store presence, more so than it already presents itself to be. Our objective was to create an interactive unit in the form of a wire loop buzzer game incorporating the Lacoste Live branding and a tester facility. This brings a unique and fun factor to the launch, therefore giving Lacoste a whole new outlook for their brand’s presence.
It was important to use to make sure the use of materials were sturdy, durable and easy to clean by the in-house Retail staff. Using acrylic gave us the right look and feel, as well as giving it that high-gloss finish, this added a luxury factor.
In the background of the graphic includes the Lacoste branding in white, so it contrasts well against the red. The three pivotal colours of white, blue and red work cohesively and we enjoyed designing, developing, manufacturing and installing this unit. We hope to work with Lacoste in the near future on additional launches.
